OCFA IN 2021
2021 is already moving quickly, but we are excited for the seasons to come! Despite so many changes during 2020, we know two things that did not change:
1. God on his throne, King over all of life and its circumstances, AND
2. Our mission to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the world around us!
Last year, we adapted in many ways to make sure your safety and health were a priority. We held services online and in-person using masks and social distancing; we gave away food and supplies to those in need in our community; we improved our technology capabilities to connect with you while you were at home.
Our goal has always been to care for our neighbors and ensure the safety of those attending our church! We have safely held services in-person, using the suggested precautions, without any cases of Covid-19 spreading as a result! In the new year, we will continue to hold Sunday services in-person, indoors in our Sanctuary, until further notice.
We understand that this option is not wise for some of you, so we encourage those at risk, or those who have been advised by their healthcare providers, to stay home and join us online! We have multiple livestream and Zoom options available and we'd love to get you connected!
Here is our Sunday schedule as of March 7, 2021:
English gathering led by Pastor Drew and team
(held in the sanctuary & online on OCFA's Facebook page & YouTube channel)
Deaf gathering led by Pastor Bill and team
(held in the chapel & Facebook Live)
Weekly prayer meeting
In this season, we are praying for revival in our church and our nation! All gatherings are welcome.
Sunday morning Bible study classes for all ages!
OCFA Kids in 2021
Sunday morning Kids Church is meeting every Sunday!
You can drop them off at 10:20 in our Kids building, where they will stay for the remainder of our 10:30am gatherings!
We are excited for OCFA kids to be able to learn and interact in Kids Church this year! We believe it is crucial that kids have a chance to learn about God, ask questions, and get creative in a setting built for them! We will keep you informed of all that OCFA kids will be up to this year.
What are you excited for in 2021?
We pray that this year you experience the goodness of God, learn the truth of his word in the Bible, and grow in your relationship and service to him!
A new year offers a new start, and we believe God has big plans for 2021!
We hope you join us! Please let us know how we can be praying for you and your family.
God bless you,
Pastor Drew and the OCFA team
